CAWST has provided the technology, knowledge and skills to facilitate projects from inception through follow up. Please view the CAWST site at www.cawst.org for details on this non profit society. Friends Who Care has partnered with the Vineyard Ministries Central Mexico (La Vina) in Mexico to train their organization and help set up a BSF project in Mazatlan. The project is very successful, with a manufacturing capacity of up to 100 filters a month. We have a number of pictures in the photo gallery section of our web site. Another Biosand project in Mexico has been successfully launched in Santa Rosa, a Colonia on the south side of Guadalajara, Mexico, in partnership with the "Project Brotherhood Society". The organization meets the needs of some very appreciative families, churches and schools. The Project Brotherhood web site is http://www.projectbrotherhood.com/ There are pictures in the photo gallery section. We now have successful Biosand Water Filter projects in Mexico and India. Each project is self supporting and self sufficient using their own resources of Leadership, volunteers, labour and materials. |
